What makes your sunscreen different from others?

We are on a mission to make sunscreen fun. From our “World-Famous” signature scent, to our sensorial products and our CleanClassic™️ formulation process, every element of our sunscreen is meticulously designed to enhance your moments of leisure and make you look, feel, and smell like you've been to paradise and back.

Are all of your products Vegan & Leaping Bunny Certified?

Yes. We’re Leaping Bunny-certified and all of our products are Vegan.

Are your products Hawaii Act 104 Compliant?

All of our products are formulated without Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, Parabens and a slew of ingredients that we can't get behind.

Where are your products made?

Our sunscreens are manufactured in and formulated for the United States of America (USA).

Are your products water resistant?

All of our water resistant sunscreens are noted as such on their respective web pages. They are designed to be water resistant for up to 80 minutes, but you should always reapply immediately after towel drying.

Are your sunscreens safe?

Yes. At Vacation®, we take safety very seriously. We design all of our sunscreens in conformance with the guidance issued by both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Skin Cancer Foundation. Additionally, our sunscreens are tested by board certified dermatologists and reviewed by toxicologists. We acknowledge the concerns around sunscreen ingredients, but as a company we take science and the law very seriously. We constantly monitor scientific research and governmental policies from around the world to ensure that our products are employing the best in modern skincare science, including the use of ingredients that have well-established safety records to the extent that is legally possible.

What are the best ways to safely enjoy your candles?

Before Burning

• Center wick if needed
• Always trim the wick ⅛” before lighting
• Avoid placing near fans, vents, open doors, and variable air sources

While Burning

• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Never touch or move candle while burning
• Keep away from things that catch on fire
• Keep away from children
• Do not expose candle to water
• Do not allow flame to touch the side of the glass
• Burn for maximum of 4 hours at a time
• Burn until wax reaches edge of glass to avoid tunneling
• If sooting occurs, extinguish and trim wick
• Keep candle free of any foreign matter such as matches, wick trimmings, etc.
• Discontinue use once ¼” of wax remains.

Extinguishing

• Never use water to extinguish candle
• Use a candle snuffer to prevent splashing of hot leisure-enhancing wax
• Don’t touch for two hours following extinguishing
• Assure candle is completely extinguished before leaving the room

Orders

How fast do you ship?

Our standard US-domestic shipping time is between 2-5 business days. International orders can take approximately 10 business days. All orders are processed within 24 hours, Monday-Friday.

How do I check on the status of my order?

Please email our Regional Director of Sales and Part-Time Accountant, Ray Smith, at vacation@vacation.inc for any questions relating to the status of your very much appreciated order!

Do you ship internationally?

All Vacation® products are required to ship by land, and we cannot ship by air to distinguished locations such as Homer, Alaska, or Castletown, The Isle of Man, or Lotofoga, Samoa. We apologize for the inconvenience, but it is the law.

What is your return policy?

Here at Vacation, customer satisfaction is our number one priority. If you have any issues with your vacation.inc order, please contact us at vacation@vacation.inc. We’ll do our best to accommodate any reasonable request. Refunds or exchanges are provided at Vacation’s sole discretion.
Please note that for health and safety reasons, we’re unable to accept returns. If your payment has already been processed for an order that we are unable to fulfill, we will issue a refund. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted and may change at any time. We may require additional information to verify and complete an order.

It's also worth noting that "shipping time" applies to the time a product spends in transit, but does not reflect the processing time to prepare, pack, and ship your order from our warehouse. Orders are typically processed in 24-48 hours, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and weekends.

Brand

Why is Ray Smith from Sales & Accounting so incredibly good looking?

The simple answer is many wonderful years of consistent use of Vacation® brand sunscreen; the technical answer is… science. Ray Smith, the legend, is the result of a fictitious longitudinal study conducted by the Institute of Leisure Sciences (ILS). The goal of the study was to understand the effects of Vacation® brand sunscreen on human physical attractiveness. 57 years and roughly 630 gallons of Classic Lotion SPF 30 later Ray Smith, the most important person at Vacation Inc., and the most aesthetically-enhanced version of our favorite Jimmy Buffet impersonator, was born as we know him today. He's a treasure to us all. We're lucky to have him, and he deserves more credit for the company's ongoing success.

Vacation Inc. owns the Vacation® brand, but both enterprises were co-created by the founder of Poolsuite/Poolside FM.

Is this real?

Such a profoundly philosophical question is due a thorough lecture on metaphysics. But we like to keep things simple here. So yes, Vacation® is a real brand developed by real people who are passionate about making sunscreen fun. This, of course, entails champagne-popping marketing campaigns, sun-soaked stories about our fabled headquarters in Miami, and a deep fascination with ‘80s summer culture. So we answer this question, with a question of our own: what even is real? To which we can firmly answer: Vacation® brand sunscreen. Yes.

HSA/FSA

What is an HSA/FSA Account?

HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) are tax-advantaged accounts that allow you to pay for qualified medical expenses using pre-tax dollars. They help you save money while investing in your health.

Can I use my HSA/FSA funds at Vacation?

Yes! If a product is labeled as HSA/FSA eligible on our site, you can use your funds to pay for it.

How do I use my HSA/FSA funds at Vacation?

Simply add eligible products to cart, checkout as guest, and select “Pay with FSA or HSA”.

What is Gale?

Gale is a payment method used by brands to enable shoppers to use their HSA or FSA card when purchasing eligible products — no manual reimbursements required.

How do I know if a product is eligible?

Look for the "HSA/FSA Eligible" badge on the product page.

What if my HSA/FSA payment is rejected by my provider?

Ensure the card is active and the HSA/FSA account has sufficient balance. Alternatively, you can always pay with your regular credit card at checkout. Gale will send you an itemized receipt and you can submit a manual claim with your HSA or FSA administrator.

What if only part of my cart is eligible?

You will be given the option to split the eligible and ineligible amounts between your HSA/FSA card and your credit or debit card.
